Faculty of Economics and Management provides the following courses:

Graduate Studies in Accounting

The Accounting course has the primary objective to provide to its participants a current and accurate training, enabling them to manage a good theoretical and practical knowledge of the latest knowledge's verified in the area, which are essential to ensure a successful place in the market. The course aims to enhance the use of Accounting and Management methods and instruments, which allow students to use their knowledge for efficient problem solving in organizations.

Graduate Studies in Economics Science and Development's Studies

The need for environmentally sustainable and equitable development is one of the most serious issues facing the contemporary world. This course provides opportunities to study the causes and consequences of unequal development and assess policy options for a more equitable and sustainable future. The program examines globalization processes from a variety of approaches, with a focus on urban and regional impacts, sustainable development and cultural diversity.

Graduate Studies in Management

The Management course aims to train competent professionals in key areas of Economy, Management and Administration. The course seeks to train professionals capable of responding adequately to new challenges in the areas of Economy and Management. Having regard to the phenomena of economic globalization, this ability seems to be particularly vital in a country like Timor-Leste where the exchange is a striking feature. This course also gains importance in the context of the country's economic development. Knowing the importance of skilled labor, the course of Economy and Management also seeks to contribute to the sustainable development process.

 

Graduate Studies in Tourism

With an innovative educational project, the Tourism course, in line with the interests of economic, social and cultural life of Timor-Leste, aims to train professionals with skills that can be articulated with the content area, allowing them to put in practice the skills needed to reach the new market demands. This course offered by UNTL was planned having in mind the Philosophy of to educate and train professionals for the purpose of work in planning, management and research related to Commerce and Tourism.
